I'm one luckiest girl on the ice!

Last weekend I got to finally perform my synchro dance for all to see! It was so fun! My synchro team made this performance my favorite by far. It's a lot less nerve racking to perform with a team then it is all my yourself on that big block of ice. My biggest fans showed up to the show! Most of my sisters, my brother-in-law, my parents, and Kami. I love these people!
When I got home I went to watch my performance but found this instead! So naturally I had to put it up on my blog. Love it!

WELCOME HOME SARAH! IT WAS A LONG 5 MONTHS!

Life as a Babysitter

Life as a babysitter never really gets old! I love it! This week I got to babysit Sawyer (three years old) and Baby Graham (almost a year and a half). These boys are constantly cracking me up but Sawyer really out did himself this week!
Before I tell my story I have to add some back round information. Sawyer's parents LOVE to be in the scoop of my dating life! I can't see Nathan without him asking me who took me out the weekend before and who's next. Yeah he thinks I go out every night. NOT EVEN CLOSE!
So I'm sitting there on the living room floor watching Graham try to keep his eyes open and reading books to Sawyer. Suddenly Sawyer stops me and looks at me in a very serious manner. He then asks me, "Been on any dates lately?" I look at him and decide to just go along with it, I respond by saying, "No, but I hung out with a cute boy a couple of days ago." Without even pausing he asked what we did. I said, "We just watched a movie." Sawyer looked at me in shock and said, " YOU DIDN'T GO SWIMMING! If I take you on a date can we go swimming?"...What is a babysitter supposed to say to that!?! Of course I was way too entertained to stop the conversation so I told him about how I don't know how to swim. Sawyer gave me that huge smile and said, "Me neither! But you're big so you have to swim." Haven't heard that one before! I roll my eyes and said, "Sawyer you're big too!" I think this offended Sawyer because after that we spent a good 5 minutes debating who should be able to swim. This post just doesn't do that conversation justice! It was definitely on my top 10 best conversations with a three year old list!
I really love this boy! The whole time I was wishing I could get out my camera and record the conversation but I knew that would get Sawyer off topic!

The things I do for this girl!

Alright so I'm finally home and it's time to get down to business! Birthday business! Kami doesn't know I'm home yet but she will when I just so happen to run into her at City Creek! Hailey is taking her and little does she know I'm going to pop up behind them! Words cannot explain how excited I am to give that girl a hug! Last night Mary and I ran around trying to figure out the perfect gift and I think we nailed it! Then this morning Hailey and I woke up early, put on shoes, brushed our teeth, went to Dan's to buy some cups (we only ran into 1 person that we knew, thank goodness!), and headed for the freeway! For those of you who haven't already seen our beautiful sign here is a picture!
We call Kami Kam a lot so we figured an I wasn't necessary..plus we ran out of cups...somehow Happy B-Day Kam took 300 cups
Hailey, you're just so cute!

This picture really doesn't show how freezing it was!
Yes that was us! :) It was freakin freezing so I hope Kami actually notices it! Hailey and I were in a lot of pain thanks to purple toes and bright red fingers. But we accomplished what we went there to do! Without our hilarious humor and support from our local random honking cars we didn't give up! 1,000 jokes and 19 honks later we finished and it looks pretty good! I really hope it is appreciated! GO SEE IT!
It's safe to say were happy to see eachother! Watching Kami freak out when she saw me was so fun!

Can you tell that we really love eachother?

HAPPY BIRTHDAY KAMI!
Arizona was so much fun! But it's good to be home!!!!!!!!!!!

Playing Golf with the Big Boys!

I DID IT! I PLAYED GOLF WITH THE BIG BOYS (Mary and Mark)! On some random Saturdays I wake up and find out Mark and Mary went golfing without me. Well I wasn't going to let that happen this trip! I decided to see what the big deal is. So I turned down my vocal cords and got serious...k maybe the serious thing didn't really happen, but I tried! At first we just did the driving range but then we moved onto the real thing!..(a par 3 doesn't mean make it into 3 holes then eat ice cream like I thought). Nope it means NINE holes, yes nine. I'm sorry, golfing was fun for the first 4 holes but I got a bit bored.....But those 9 holes taught me something about myself 1- I don't completely suck at golf 2- Keep smiling and enjoy the ride because then Dad will buy you a treat! :)

The only reason I post this one is because it's the only one where I look like I know what I'm doing.

.....see this is a not so coordinated one....I think I was faking it though...

The rest of our vacation was simply spent baking in the sun! The last day of living it up I turned into a nerd. I actually turned down the water to read my book! WHO DOES THAT!?!?! I never thought that little girl reading in the shade at a water park would be me but it was!!!!!! That book just got a hold of me. I highly recommend reading "The Maze Runner" - it's really sssssssssoooooooooooo good!!!!!!!

I was really sad to leave Arizona but it's time to see my best friends again! I think I might die if I don't give Kami and Hailey a hug really really soon.

We just saw this on the way home and couldn't pass it without a picture!
