My newest love!

My girls keep getting mad at me everytime I don't post for at least three days so here ya go girls! Syncronized ice skating is pretty much my new obsession. I feel like I'm constantly at the ice rink and I love it!! I recently joined a syncronized ice skating team at cottonwood heights so I've gotten way closer with my fellow ice skaters.

If we win enough competitions my coach is considering making this a traveling team and I really cannot wait!

Everyone keeps asking my what a syncro team is so here is the best way to explain it. I usually just say drill team on ice but this is cooler! I wish we were this good!

And now I can move on to studying for my finals...someone please burn down brighton so we don't have to go tomorrow!

BAD KISS, GOOD KISS!

I know I've already posted today but I HAVE STORIES THAT MUST  BE SHARED!

1st- So I also teach ice skating lessons at Cottonwood Heights Rec. Center. While I was there tonight some of my students needed a potty break. We all need one of those once in a while right? Well I casually walk into the bathroom with a 5 year old following me and WAAHHBAAM we walk in on two girls kissing in the bathroom. I know it's Valentines day, and I'm normally not one to judge...BUT THE REC CENTER BATHROOM! COME ON PEOPLE! So of course I have to awkwardly stand there and wait for the little girls for finish going potty...yeah I now feel like I have to warn people that I'm coming in next time I walk into a public bathroom! Those poor 5 year olds will never look at life the same again!

2nd- I got home from work at about 7:00 which means it's time to put Miss Cate to bed. We did our routine of getting pajamas on, reading stories, saying prayers, singing a Beiber song (Can't go to bed without it), then a little cuddling. While we were cuddling I always pretend like I'm asleep so that she will stop talking to me. But this time I couldn't help but wake up! She checked to see if I was "asleep" then she kissed me on the forehead and said "good night Carly, I love you"...YEAH I DIED! That girl really knows how to make me smile!

One week of being a mommy!

My week has been full of interesting/fun/crazy/cute/hilarious/intense/dramatic/tiring/amazing moments! I have decided that I HAVE to be a mom later on in life! I love it! Sure, it's freakin' tiring but in the end I really love getting to act like the mommy of these three cute girls! 

This is one of the few moments in the car when these two could handle being stuck next to each other,  so as Cate would say- course I got a picture!

We attempted to make a music video so this is Cate all dressed up for the spotlight.

I couldn't stop giggling at Anna's costume for the music video! I wish you could see the mustache better in this!

I had some friends come over and help Anna get ready for the big 6th grade valentines dance.  Yesterday Anna was showing off her teen beauty crew to her friends! -(yeah that made us feel pretty good)

One thing that I'm really going to miss is little Olivia making me do my  homework every night. She is the only 7 year old I know that will try to learn high school physics. These are just about my favorite moments with livia. When the house is quiet and we just get to sit in the freakishly squishy bed and do homework. Even if it means doing homework...

You remember Cate, right? If you don't here you go! She is a blond little three year old that is constantly reminding me that I can't tell her to hurry because kids must go slow....Cate loves to be the smart one and is constantly teaching me what kids are all about. She remind me what music kids like and what the cool kid shows are these days!

 Today I got some one-on-one time with Cate while her sisters were at piano so naturally I popped out the camera and we went to town! The quote of the day is "I like this picture because you look crazy..but I look GREAT!"...There is the oh so humble Cate for you! She really knows how to make a nanny feel good about herself.  

Theme Songs

I'm pretty sure everyone has a theme song! (I'm sexy and I know it does not count as a personal theme song). It's starting to feel like my theme song changes every other day. One moment it will be some random love song, next it will be a loud revenge song, then it will completely do a 180 and turn into a dance party song! What can I say? I think I've got some mood swings! Music is way too powerful! It can pretty much read my mind and put my thought into words in the the catchiest way possible! I love it!

I think this new obsession for music is the fact that my ipod has been missing for over a week! I'M DYING! I even cleaned out my car to try and find it..yeah didn't work my poor ipod is still lost in the lonely cold somewhere! I hope it feels free to come out of hiding soon!
